Finding Nano - Discovering Nanotechnology and Culture in Germany

This Summer University gives you an overview of the technological landscape of Germany, with an emphasis on nanotechnology and nanoengineered materials. Excursions to industrial sites, research laboratories and cultural points of relevance (such as BMW, Max-Planck-Institutes, Nuremberg) illustrate Germany's position in the technological world.

You will also get an insight in German and European culture. The course is of special interest to undergraduates of science and engineering who have completed an introduction to quantum mechanics or quantum chemistry.
